ProteoColor™
PlxBeads™
are acrylic beads encoded with nanocrystals (quantum dots). They are
suitable for bead-based assays. The beads are available in 100 nm,
500 nm, 1 µm and 5 µm sizes. The four color choices are: Grass Green
(525 nm), Yellow (575 nm), Orange (600 nm) and Scarlet (630 nm). The
excitation spectra are broad; any wavelength below the emission
wavelength can be used to excite the beads. ProteoColor PlxBeads are
available in 1 mg, 5 mg and 10 mg quantities. They can be purchased
as carboxyl-functionalized beads which can then be conjugated to
biological molecules, or as avidin-conjugated beads.
