The
ProteoHook™
2DE Sample Preparation Kit is designed for cleanup of protein
samples prior to two-dimensional gel electrophoresis. The kit can
isolate proteins from various sample types without the need for
precipitation and resolubilization. It can remove at least 95% of
salts, nucleic acids, lipids and detergents including SDS.
The ProteoHook 2DE kit includes materials sufficient to cleanup 10
samples, each containing 50-500 µg protein in 100-200 µl total
volume, with the concentration of protein being at least 0.5 mg/ml.
Buffers for washing away contaminants and elution of proteins from
the spin column are included.
